I have been talking to my peers and the business world is shifting, Many are panicking and pivoting. I get it. I have been contemplating new possibilities in my own business too. But after 30 years as an entrepreneur, I know one truth—change is inevitable. Pivoting isn’t a crisis; it’s part of the game.
I prefer the term evolving because you are never starting from scratch. Every experience, every lesson, and every skill you have gained adds to your foundation. You are not at ground zero; you are building on a legacy of wisdom.
But here’s what doesn’t change: the core of your business. Your values, the problems you solve, and the revenue streams that sustain you are your business DNA. While the way you deliver your solutions may shift, your foundation remains the same.
